“SAIL represents a fresh-start for anesthesia-related technology development”

– William New, MD, PhD

Co-Founder of Nellcor

The Stanford Anesthesia Innovation Lab (SAIL) is a medical device incubator focused on accelerating the development of anesthesia-related medical devices. We understand what it takes to develop medical technology, from defining the clinical need to developing commercially viable solutions. SAIL provides valuable industry expertise, technical development resources, and avenues for clinical testing and deployment. A strong emphasis is placed on technologies that can be rapidly prototyped and clinically validated. SAIL provides the financial and human resources required to bring promising ideas to life. Furthermore, SAIL has access to programs that facilitate the development of startups and technology commercialization.
